A glittering constellation of Diamond beauty showers the air with each movement of the hand! A full carat of characterful old hand cut Diamonds are clustered together in an open 'belcher' style setting of mellow 18ct yellow Gold. The glittery old gems are each faceted in the 'European' style with large open facets which the light rolls over so gorgeously. The wide band is smoothed with age and feels substantial and familiar upon the hand. A lovely clear full hallmark enables us to date this old jewel to 1902 when it was assayed in Birmingham, alongside is the maker's mark 'AI' which sadly we've been unable to trace, certainly a small workshop likely based in the famous jewellery quarter of Birmingham. The ring size is an 'S' or '9', but can easily be altered to suit and we do so for free. Just leave us a message on your order form. The centre stone measures at 0.20ct and the framing stones 0.10ct each. They have natural carbon inclusions which would give them a 'P' grading, but we have priced accordingly, and we are sure that the impact of this splendid ring will not disappoint!
